The committee shall exist for the purpose of advising and assisting the Board of Directors in creating a warm welcome to new residents of the West Fork Ranch (WFR) HOA. The WFR Welcome Committee will help new residents feel at home in an unfamiliar neighborhood. They will be able to answer questions and provide information about the community and to help educate the new owners about the association and the community. The committee may assist with helpful “insider” information (best shopping venues, restaurants, etc.) that will help the newcomer feel at home. The committee may present HOA information (policies & guidelines), city services, HOA management company contact information and other information any well informed resident should know or have available. Responsibilities for the Welcome Committee may include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Recommend ideas for a welcome gathering, social event or ‘basket/package’
- Create content material for welcoming ‘package’ and include contact information for HOA management company
- Coordinate with board assigned persons to have print material created
The committee shall consist of at least (3) three and not more than (7) seven resident member volunteers. The committee Chair and Secretary shall be elected by the committee members. The committee may elect to assign specific roles to members of the committee. The Chairperson shall preside at Welcome Committee meetings and shall be responsible for transmitting any and all communications to the Board of Directors.
Each committee member shall be a resident owner or renter residing in West Fork Ranch.
Members of the committee shall be volunteers and should have no term limit. The committee Chairperson and Secretary shall serve a term not to exceed two (2) years.
The committee shall meet as necessary to accomplish its purpose. Meeting dates and times shall be coordinated through committee members. The
